One click
Install with Pinokio
No terminal, nothing to set up. Pinokio brings its own Python and tools, then installs Castwright for you.
- Open Pinokio and paste the Castwright repo URL.
- Click Install — it builds the latest release, around ten to twenty minutes.
- Click Start, then Open Web UI. The first launch sets up your voices.

Download the zip
One build runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Unzip it and run the launcher.
- Download the zip — one build for all three systems.
- Unzip it wherever you like.
- Run the launcher; it fetches the voice engines and opens Castwright.
At launch the zip becomes proper installers — signed for Windows, notarised for macOS.
What you need
- 8 GB GPU — NVIDIA benchmarked (RTX 3060 or newer); Apple silicon supported
- Windows 10/11 or Linux with an NVIDIA GPU; macOS 12+ on Apple silicon (runs on the Mac's GPU — slower than the NVIDIA path)
- AMD GPU — experimental preview: Qwen and Coqui run on ROCm, Kokoro on the CPU. A failed ROCm install falls back to a working CPU setup on its own, so it never blocks you
- Audio assembly — a free tool called ffmpeg, installed once with a single command (see the install guide)
